Blog One(272)- 15 Reasons I Think You Should Blog

English Class, essays, writing.. These are a few of my least favourite things. English was always a class I was required to take, staying up until midnight trying to get meaningless words on a piece of paper in hopes I passed the class. It, in fact, still haunts me in College with a new twist, blogging.
When I heard the word blogging I always thought of someone getting paid to sit by the water, drinking tea while they write their daily thoughts on the internet. But reading 15 reasons I think you should blog by Joshua Becker has given me a whole new perspective on blogging. I always have so much to say about everything. I can type 100 words in a text message to my friends in no time, I can post a photo to facebook followed by a paragraph but when I have to do it I have nothing to say. What I didn’t realize is a blog isn’t a job and there is no right or wrong. You don’t have to say the right thing. Its your own thoughts and opinions and if the reader wants to read it they will. In fact, many social media sites I already use are a form of blogging I just didn’t realize it.
I am very nervous about blogging I don’t think of myself as a strong writer and I’m very nervous about sharing my thoughts, especially with my peers. I am afraid of making a mistake and being judged, but how will I know if I don’t give it a shot?
